Education & Interests
I have always had a strong passion for art, design and the creative process. In 2013 I turned that love into a career in Interior Architecture with a BFA degree from California State University Long Beach. The 5 year program focuses on the conceptual development of each project in order to design with a clear direction and strong sense of purpose. In parallel I expanded my skills in model building, furniture making and business management. In 2020 I decided to further my studies by moving to Florence, Italy and study Furniture Design at the Florence Institute of Design International. The post graduate program focuses on learning from the rich historical context of Italian art & design as well as from a network of contemporary Italian designers. The curriculum encourages students to develop their own approach to furniture solutions while gaining a technical understanding of various furniture manufacturing processes.
Fifty years ago the World Health Organization defined health as:
“ A state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”
The UCLA Wellness and Recovery Center (WRC) is dedicated to improving the condition of recovering cancer patients through a program of physical therapy, nutritional advising, and group therapy. This program provides patients with a comprehensive healing process upon their release from the hospital to aid in their transition to life as a survivor.

“The art museum stands in the light of Lake Constance. It is made of glass and steel and a cast concrete stone mass which endows the interior of the building with texture and spatial composition. From the outside, the building looks like a lamp. It absorbs the changing light of the sky, the haze of the lake, it reflects light and colour and gives an intimation of its inner life according to the angle of vision, the daylight and the weather”

Shadow Play; Bass Wood
Shadow Play is a model made from bass wood using 3 categories of geometry: planes, lines & volumes. The objective was to create a single module using all three elements. The single module was then repeated in order to create a larger form. The resulting negative space and shadows the object created were studied in more detail.

Entity Music Studio is inspired by the influence of the music industry on the general public. The aggressively competitive nature of the industry turns music artists into icons. The three music studios centrally organize the space, focusing the interior around the creative individual. Each change in elevation creates a different experience and vantage point, defining the interior space around the individual artist.
