Totem is an acoustic light fixture unlike any of it’s kind. Inspired by Greek and Roman Doric columns, the base exemplifies the traditional vertical fluted carving with a minimalist approach. The porous felt exterior and high density foam interior core greatly reduce white noise in an interior space. With an NRC rating of 0.8 Totem provides an extremely high sound absorption and attenuation value.
RiOS partnered with QCP in order to create a new, unique brand under the QCP family. Named after the founders of QCP, Fred and Cathy, the brand focuses on combining authentic materials with clean lines in order to create a contemporary line of exterior pavers, interior tile and terrazzo. Fred + Cathy celebrates generations of concrete knowledge, evolving and expanding the QCP family of products to provide a unique line of interior and exterior concrete products.
The various tiles within the line were inspired by the surrounding nature of Southern California. The soft and subtle textures represent the ements of wind, water and animal life that can be found within the desert landscapes.
Not all stacking chairs are created equal. The goal with this design was to create a chair that can be easily stacked and stored away but is so aesthetically pleasing that you will never want to. Inspired by the simple function of a stacking cup, Solo features a curved plywood base with an upholstered seat and back. Who ever said stacking chairs need to be boring?
Solo comes in 4 finish options: forest green, sky blue, unfinished and natural black. The forest green and sky blue options come with velvet upholstery, while the unfinished and natural black are paired with a leather seat and back.
